Mission Statement

The Abia State Diaspora Ambassadors initiative exists to mobilize Abians living around the world to become family-level civic ambassadors, inspiring and guiding relatives and community members in rural areas to participate actively in the democratic process.

Through structured civic engagement, digital coordination, and community outreach, we aim to significantly increase voter participation ahead of the 2027 Nigerian General Election.

Our strategic approach focuses on a three-stage civic mobilization process:

1️⃣ INEC Voter Registration Mobilization
Encouraging every eligible citizen in Abia’s rural communities to complete registration through the Continuous Voter Registration program of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

2️⃣ Registration Verification & Validation
Helping registrants confirm and verify their voter records to ensure they are properly captured in the national voter register.

3️⃣ PVC Collection & Election Participation
Mobilizing registrants to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the election process.

By leveraging the influence of diaspora family networks, community leaders, and civic volunteers, we are building a grassroots movement that transforms every household into a center of democratic participation, ensuring that the progress, infrastructure development, and economic reforms taking place across Abia State continue to move forward.
